Privacy Policy

What we do and do not know about you, written plainly.

Last updated 10 September 2026

The short version

This website does not ask you for personal information, does not create accounts, and does not set cookies of its own. There is no analytics or advertising tracking on it. If you contact Bio-Input Enterprise, we hold what you send us for as long as it takes to answer you and to carry out any work you ask for.

What this website collects

Nothing is collected from you by the pages themselves. There are no contact forms, no sign in, no newsletter subscription and no shopping basket. Nothing you type is sent to us from this site, because there is nowhere on it to type.

Fonts and images are served from this site rather than fetched from third party services while you browse, so visiting a page does not announce your visit to anyone else.

Server logs

Like nearly all websites, the service hosting these pages keeps technical logs of requests. Those records can include an IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and basic browser information. They exist so the site can be kept running and secure. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are not sold or shared for marketing.

When you contact us

The ways to reach us on this site are WhatsApp on +255 679 245 984 and email at macrine@bioinput.co.tz. Both open outside this website, in WhatsApp or in your own mail application. Those services are run by other companies under their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover what they do with your data.

What you send us directly, such as your name, your phone number, where your farm is and what you want assessed, we keep so that we can reply and carry out the work. We do not sell it.

Soil data and field records

If you become a client, we hold records connected to your land: sampling details, laboratory results, our interpretation, and notes from visits. These exist so that change can be measured across seasons, which is the point of the work.

We may use what we learn in an anonymised form, for example to describe a soil problem that is common in a region. We will not publish your name, your identity or the location of your farm without asking you first.

Photographs

Field notes on this site use photographs taken during visits. Where a photograph could identify a person or a specific farm, we ask before publishing it, and we will take an image down on request.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw agreement to us using your photograph or your farm's details at any time. Write to us and we will act on it.

Personal data in Tanzania is governed by the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. If you believe we have handled your information wrongly, you may raise it with us first, and you retain the right to complain to the relevant authority.

Changes to this policy

If this site starts to collect information, for example by adding a contact form or a client area for reports, this policy will be updated before that feature goes live, and the date at the top will change.

Contact

Questions about this policy can go to macrine@bioinput.co.tz, or to Bio-Input Enterprise, Monduli, Arusha, Tanzania.
